Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Imaan Ibrahim and I graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in June 2025!
My interest in product design and the intersection between engineering and art grew through the projects I made in Stanford’s Product Realization Lab. I’ve found a love for hands-on work and the feeling that comes with seeing an idea come to life.
Outside of class, you would find me at the Black House, the create:space (a makerspace where I worked!), and my dorm as an RA. In my senior year, I also served as a Seeds of Change leader in a program aimed at creating more representation for women in STEM.

Where it all started
As I thought back to what hints in my childhood might’ve shown that mechanical engineering and product design were the path for me, I think back to my first ideation of a car that could deliver food to the passengers. It was surprisingly well thought out as I had imagined a screen to place an order on the side of the door, and that the food would be delivered from a slot in the door. The kitchen would be located in the trunk, so it would be a compromise between trunk space or food on demand, but I know what younger me would’ve picked! Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to prototype it, but who knows what is yet to come…
