Idiophone

An idiophone is a device that creates sound itself through vibrations or movement. This was created using the processes of woodworking, sand-casting, turning on the lathe, milling, and welding.

The Idiophone is a display of my first time machining and woodworking. This project expanded my skills and also my imagination as I gained a deeper understanding of what I could possibly create.

From this project I learned about the importance of dedicating time to a project, but also how to allocate the time between different parts of it. This project unlocked a door to my future creations!
